Our Story
Kindred Cleaning began with an unexpected friendship between two families in South Minneapolis.
Our daughters became friends first. Then, through countless conversations—many of them powered by Google Translate—we became friends too. Over time, that friendship grew into something that felt more like family.
After leaving their homeland in Crimea, one family worked hard to build a new life in Minnesota. With backgrounds in service, entrepreneurship, and a deep commitment to caring for others, they dreamed of owning a business again and creating opportunities for their family and community.
As fellow entrepreneurs, we recognized a shared work ethic, pride in serving others, and belief that the details matter. Together, we created Kindred Cleaning.
Today, we provide reliable, detail-oriented cleaning services throughout the Twin Cities. Our mission is simple: help people enjoy cleaner, more comfortable spaces while building opportunity, community, and lasting relationships.

The Sufianova-Asimov Family
ServicesThe Sufianova-Azimova family brings warmth, kindness, and a wonderful sense of community to the Nokomis neighborhood. After emigrating from Crimea, they have made Minneapolis their home, where they are raising their three sweet children.
Zulfiie is a cleaning extraordinaire with an incredible eye for detail, and if you've ever had one of her homemade desserts, you know she's also an amazingly talented baker of sweet treats! Together, their family embodies generosity, resilience, and the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. We're so grateful to have the Sufianova-Azimova family as part of the Kindred community.
OperationsThe Henry Family
The Henry family has proudly called the Nokomis neighborhood home for over 20 years. Jackie and Joe are raising their four active kids (plus one energetic dog!) and love spending time outdoors—whether it's sailing on Lake Nokomis, heading to the family cabin, or enjoying everything the neighborhood has to offer.
Kindred is truly a family effort. Joe manages operations, conducts first-visit estimates, and serves as the primary English-speaking contact for Zulfiie. Jackie works behind the scenes, keeping everything organized through the website, scheduling reminders, emails, and invoicing. Their kids have even pitched in by helping pass out flyers around the neighborhood.
Together, the Henry family loves connecting with neighbors and helping create clean, welcoming homes while supporting a local family-owned business.
